E-MAIL VIRUS SCANNING

Virus Scanning protects your incoming e-mail from potential viruses. Enabling Virus Scanning significantly reduces the chance your computer will become infected by a virus or worm via e-mail.

Virus Scanning Instructions:

To enable E-mail Virus Scanning within your email system:

- Log into your WebsiteOS Control Panel and go to E-mail > Easymail Setup > Virus Scanning Tab.
- Select the checkbox labeled 'Virus Scanning' and then click the 'Apply' button. All email accounts within your package are protected with Virus Scanning.

All mail message 'headers' will indicate virus scanning of your e-mail. When a virus is found in an incoming e-mail message it will be removed and you will receive a notification.
