How can I copy/paste tracert or ping info from a DOS window?

Copy/pasting from a DOS window is one of those things that's very simple, yet annoyingly complicated to first figure out.
1. Right click on the top of the dos window and choose 'properties'. On the first screen you see, check the box that says 'quickedit'.
2. Highlight the text you wish to copy with the mouse pointer. (make sure you get everything you want.)
3. Then, once it's all highlighted, hit the right mouse button. The highlight should then disappear. Once that happens, the data should be in the clipboard and you should be able to paste it into an email or a text file to show to us.

If this does not work, please try this:
1. Click in the upper left hand corner and choose Edit > Select All
2. and then press enter. This will copy all highlighted text, you can then paste it in the reply to us and we can look at the results to solve the issue as soon as possible.
